A MANAGEMENT IN SWIMMING TEAM THAT AFFECTED THE ACHIEVEMENT OF PROFESSIONAL SWIMMERS IN THAILAND

Abstract
This research aimed (1) to study the level of variables that affected the achievement of professional swimmers in Thailand, (2) to study the level of success of professional swimmers in Thailand, and (3) to study a management in swimming team that affected the achievement of professional swimmers in Thailand. The sample population consisted of 250 swimmers that entrants to Thailand swimming championships, using the technique accidental sampling. A questionnaire was used for data collection. Data were analyzed using the technique of multiple regression analysis. Findings were as follows 1) The level of variables that affected the achievement of professional swimmers in Thailand depended on many variables, the respondents’ opinions were found that each variable was on important role in a team management, When classified into each aspects it was found that analysis and evaluation of the competition results were at a highest level with mean of 4.25, Athlete potential development was at a highest level with mean of 4.24 percent, Team management were at a high level with mean 4.19, Facilities equipment and other materials were at a high level with mean of 4.17. And athlete section process was at a high level with mean of 3.77. 2) The level of success of professional swimmers in Thailand, when classified into each aspects it was found that respondents opinions regarding future progress was at a highest level with mean of 4.66, Educational opportunities were at a highest level with mean of 4.65, and competition prizes were at a high level with mean of 3.90. 3) A management in swimming team that affected the achievement of professional swimmers in Thailand was found that respondents opinions regarding factor athlete support and promotion were at a lowest level, the results showed that factor of athlete support and promotion related to a management in swimming team that affected the achievement of professional swimmers in Thailand at the significance level of .05.
