Development of Reliable Quality Assessment Model for Emergency Care System in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province

Background : Emergency care system is a complex process. Accurate systematic quality assurance can show appropriate development directions.
Objective : This study is Process Research to seek quality assessment model to prioritize the most weakest topics in emergency care system of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province and to be improved.
Material and methods : We started with quality assessment tool that have 12 elements then compared in self-evaluation and Evaluation by assessment team with Ranksum test.
Result : The results showed that there were statistically significant differences in 6 elements such as building, intra-hospital care, supportive system, prehospital care, administrative system, information system. In addition, it has studied on detailed topics each of the elements, and found weaknesses in the differentiation of the two assessments.
Conclusion : There should be two types of assessments at the beginning to adjust both understanding and attitude to the assessment until there have no statistically significant difference. It can reduce the form of evaluation to a compact to be easy to follow the quality of the emergency care system of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province.
