Abstract
Registered nurses who provide treatment to patients 24 hours a day for this reason ECG reading skills is necessary to help the patient in a timely manner when the patient has an arrhythmia and also prevent cardiac arrest. Therefore, ECG training program was created to help registered nurses for practice ECG reading. Effectiveness of program were obtained from 46 registered nurses such as general information, ECG reading score, effectiveness of ECG training program, and satisfaction of ECG training program. The data were analysis with descriptive statistics and paired t-test.
The results showed that the effectiveness of ECG training program score at the value of 4.20 ± 0.70 and also found that 80% of registered nurses were the promoter of ECG training program. In addition to ECG reading score of registered nurses improve after training with ECG training program with significantly different.
It should be suggested that registered nurses can continuous training themselves to improve ECG reading skill with download application ECG simulator training TUH both of PC computer and mobile phone (Android and iOS) on website: http://www.tuhecgtraining.com/
