การใช้บริการทันตกรรมในกลุ่มวัยทำงานและผู้สูงอายุไทย จากการสำรวจอนามัยและสวัสดิการ พ.ศ. 2556 และพ.ศ. 2558

บทคัดย่อ
การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปรียบเทียบการใช้บริการสุขภาพช่องปากของวัยทำงานและผู้สูงอายุไทยโดยใช้ข้อมูลทุติยภูมิจากการสำรวจอนามัยและสวัสดิการของสำนักงานสถิติแห่งชาติ พ.ศ. 2556 และ 2558 จำนวน 57,778 และ 111,896 ชุด ตามลำดับ แบ่งออกเป็น 4 ช่วงวัย ได้แก่ วัยทำงานตอนต้น (15-29 ปี) วัยทำงานตอนกลาง (30-44 ปี) วัยทำงานตอนปลาย (45-59 ปี) และวัยผู้สูงอายุ (60 ปีขึ้นไป) พบว่า อัตราการใช้บริการทันตกรรมในภาพรวมลดลงจากร้อยละ 9.4 (พ.ศ. 2556) เป็นร้อยละ 7.8 (พ.ศ. 2558) โดยผู้สูงอายุ 70 ปีขึ้นไปและวัยทำงานตอนกลางมีอัตราการใช้บริการที่น้อยกว่าช่วงอายุอื่น ส่วนประเด็นอื่น ๆ พ.ศ. 2556 และ 2558 มีค่าใกล้เคียงกัน ได้แก่ จำนวนครั้งเฉลี่ยของการใช้บริการทันตกรรมของผู้ที่ใช้บริการทันตกรรมคือปีละ 1.7 และ 1.8 ครั้งต่อคน ตามลำดับ มีเฉพาะวัยทำงานตอนต้นที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยของการใช้บริการทันตกรรมมากกว่าปีละ 2 ครั้งต่อคน สัดส่วนของชนิดบริการทันตกรรมในครั้งสุดท้ายอันดับแรกของวัยทำงานตอนต้นและกลางคือ การขูดหินน้ำลาย ของวัยทำงานตอนปลายและผู้สูงอายุคือ การถอนฟัน การถอนฟันและการใส่ฟันเทียมมีแนวโน้มเพิ่มขึ้นตามอายุ ผู้ที่มีสิทธิสวัสดิการรักษาพยาบาลแต่ไม่ใช้สิทธิในการใช้บริการทันตกรรมมีร้อยละ 38.1 และ 39.4 ตามลำดับ โดยวัยทำงานตอนต้นมีอัตราการไม่ใช้สวัสดิการสูงสุด คลินิกเอกชนเป็นสถานบริการหลักที่วัยทำงานและผู้สูงอายุไปใช้บริการ ทันตกรรม ผู้ให้ข้อมูลด้วยตนเองระบุว่ามีปัญหาสุขภาพช่องปากและจำเป็นต้องรับบริการทางทันตกรรมแต่ไม่ได้รับบริการร้อยละ 1.7 และ 1.4 ตามลำดับ
