การดูแลฟันเทียมชนิดถอดได้

ความสำเร็จของการใส่ฟันเทียมขึ้นอยู่กับการวางแผนเลือกชนิดฟันเทียมที่เหมาะสม การให้คำแนะนำในการดูแลรักษาสภาพฟันเทียม และความร่วมมือของผู้ป่วยหลังใส่ การดูแลที่ไม่ถูกวิธีอาจทำอันตรายต่อฟันเทียมหรือไม่สามารถกำจัดเชื้อจุลชีพบนฟันเทียมได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพส่งผลต่อการใช้งานในระยะยาวและสุขภาพร่างกายของผู้ใส่ บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อรวบรวมวิธีการและวัสดุอุปกรณ์ในการทำความสะอาดฟันเทียมชนิดถอดได้ซึ่งเป็นฟันเทียมชนิดที่มีผู้ใส่เป็นจำนวนมาก ในด้านคุณสมบัติ ข้อควรระวัง และข้อห้ามใช้ของวิธีการและสารทำความสะอาดแต่ละชนิด อย่างไรก็ตามไม่มีแนวทางใดแนวทางหนึ่งที่เป็นมาตรฐานสำหรับผู้ใส่ฟันเทียมทุกราย ทันตแพทย์ต้องประเมินผู้ป่วยรวมถึงผู้ดูแลทุกด้านทั้งความพร้อมของร่างกาย สภาพแวดล้อม เศรษฐานะ และแนะนำวิธีที่เหมาะสมสำหรับแต่ละบุคคล รวมทั้งมีการนัดผู้ป่วยมาติดตามอาการอย่างสม่ำเสมอ
