บทคัดย่อ

วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่ออธิบายสถานการณ์ของผู้สูงอายุในประเทศไทย รวมถึงผลกระทบ ที่เกิดขึ้นในการเป็นสังคมผู้สูงอายุ ความหมายของชุมชนเข้มแข็ง กลยุทธ์และวิธีในการสร้างความเข้มแข็งของชุมชน บทบาทพยาบาลกับการพัฒนาชุมชนเข้มแข็งในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุ
วิธีการศึกษา: การรวบรวมความรู้จากเอกสาร งานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง นำมาวิเคราะห์ สังเคราะห์ ผลกระทบต่อเศรษฐกิจและสังคมจากการเพิ่มขึ้นของจำนวนผู้สูงอายุ เสนอมุมมองเกี่ยวกับการมีชุมชนที่เข้มแข็งที่จะมีส่วนช่วยในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุซึ่งเป็นกลุ่มเปราะบาง รวมถึงบทบาทพยาบาลอนามัยชุมชนในการดูแลสุขภาพผู้สูงอายุในชุมชน
ผลการศึกษา: สถานการณ์ประชากรผู้สูงอายุของโลกและประเทศไทยในศตวรรษที่ 21 กำลังก้าวสู่การเป็นสังคมผู้สูงอายุโดยสมบูรณ์ (Aging Society) มีเด็กและวัยแรงงานลดลงส่งผลให้สัดส่วนกำลังแรงงานในประเทศลดลง ทำให้คนในวัยแรงงานต้องรับภาระการดูแลผู้สูงอายุเพิ่มมากขึ้น ผู้สูงอายุควรได้รับการช่วยเหลือดูแลที่ตรงกับความต้องการและปัญหาที่แท้จริง โดยมีความสอดคล้องกับสังคมและวัฒนธรรมของผู้สูงอายุ เพื่อให้ผู้สูงอายุได้ใช้ชีวิตอยู่กับชุมชน ครอบครัวของตนเองอย่างปลอดภัยและมีคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดี พยาบาลชุมชนเป็นบุคคลากรด้านสาธารณสุขที่มีโอกาสทำงานใกล้ชิดกับผู้สูงอายุที่อาศัยในชุมชนมากที่สุด มีข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ที่บ้าน รวมถึงภาวะสุขภาพอย่างเป็นองค์รวมของผู้สูงอายุ การที่พยาบาลใช้บทบาทของตัวเองเพื่อส่งเสริมความเข้มแข็งของชุมชน จะช่วยเพิ่มศักยภาพของชุมชน ในหลายด้าน ได้แก่ การเพิ่มศักยภาพประชาชนในชุมชน การส่งเสริมภาวะผู้นำ การใช้ทรัพยากรในชุมชนให้เกิดประโยชน์ รวมถึงการบูรณาการหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวช้องเพื่อการดูแลผู้สูงอายุให้มีภาวะสุขภาพและคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดี
สรุป: พยาบาลชุมชนเป็นทีมสุขภาพที่ใกล้ชิดและเข้าถึงชุมชนมากที่สุด มีบทบาทสำคัญในการเสริมสร้างความเข้มแข็งของชุมชนผ่านการพัฒนาศักยภาพประชาชน การจัดการสุขภาพผู้ป่วยเรื้อรัง และการใช้ทรัพยากรในชุมชนอย่างคุ้มค่า รวมถึงประสานความร่วมมือกับผู้นำและเครือข่ายเพื่อคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีของประชาชนในชุมชน
