ASPECTS OF HEALTH AND SOCIAL WITH TUBERCULOSIS PATIENT IN PRISON

Abstract

The aim is to study health and social dimension in Tuberculosis disease in prison during October 2017 to April 2018. The focus group compose with 3 of prison officers, 7 Tuberculosis patients and 2 volunteers by using interview and analyze data. Prisoner suffering from branded and separated to provide special room for prevention and reduction of disease however, the behavior of caring is able spread to the other prisoner consequently volunteer lack of knowledge and understanding for practice medication skill to protect from Tuberculosis disease In addition, the prisoner who do the activities with the Tuberculosis patient would have opportunity to get the tuberculosis disease. During 2 months Tuberculosis patient would be separated from other prisoners for prevention and reduction disease after 2 months Tuberculosis patient would be sent back which may effect to discontinuing care for taking medication treatment it may not improve for effective treatment. The study is to understanding the way of life with Tuberculosis patient in prison for improve model accordance with quantity of prisoner and providing health personnel for communication of risk behavior to cure Tuberculosis disease including environment and monitoring to take care for Tuberculosis patient in prison.
