RESULTS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF MODEL FOR STROKE PATIENTS CARE SIRINDHORN HOSPITAL KHON KAEN PROVINCE

ABSTRACT

This study is an action research aimed to develop and study the effect of a care model for stroke patients at Sirindhorn Hospital. Khon Kaen Province operates 3 phases 1) development preparation phase 2) Development phase 3) Evaluation period from May 2020 - Sep 2020 sample groups are Patients with ischemic stroke, 40 persons selected Purposive Sampling according to the specification, 24 professional nurses in ward Data were analyzed, analyzed for frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.

Results of the development of a care model for stroke patients at Sirindhorn Hospital Khon Kaen Province, using a nursing practice guideline, it was found that the patients 1) aspiration pneumonia decreased 11.11% to 2.50 2) urinary tract infection decreased 2.77% to 2.50 3) Patients returned to hospital Nursing care within 28 days decreased 5.55% to 0 4) Relatives or caregivers received information on the preparation for distribution increased 91.67% to 100 5) The average sleep days were not different from 2.31 to 2.30 days 6) mean The score for the ability to perform daily tasks is increased every period of discharge. 7) Average Modified Rankin scale score decreases every period of sale. 8) The average treatment cost decreased 8,154.70 to 6,478.40 baht, and professional nurse service providers were satisfied with the use of the nursing practice guideline for stroke patients at a high level (= 4.32, SD = 0.78). Taking care of stroke patients using nursing practices allows patients to receive quality and safe care  Still have complications A form of care for stroke patients should be developed to reduce ongoing complications for more efficiency.
