Factors Affecting the Quality of Work Life Professional Nurses Tertiary Hospital in Health District 7

Abstract

This purpose of this descriptive research was to study factors Affecting the quality of working life professional nurses. The study sample ware Professional nurse working in a tertiary hospital in Health District 7, 2 locations, Khon Kaen Hospital and Roi Et Hospital, 270 people, selected by stratified random sampling from a total of 2,002 professional nurses. The research tool was a questionnaire. The content validity was validated by 5 experts and Cronbach's alpha coefficient ware 0.98 and 0.97 for their reliabilities, respectively. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The findings wear as follows: 1) Quality of work life professional nurses Tertiary hospital in Health District 7, the overall level was at a moderate level (x ̅=3.49, S.D.=.72) 2) Factors in promoting health in organizations is related to the quality of work Life professional nurses Tertiary hospital in Health District 7namely dimensions the human resource management dimensions (r=.768), environmental dimensions and atmosphere for promoting health (r=.739), dimensions of physical and mental health (r=.713) and organizational results dimensions (r=.705) ware high level of positive related. The dimensions process of promoting health in the organization ware moderate level of positive related (r=.699) at the .05 level significance. 3) Factors significantly predicting with quality of work life professional nurses Tertiary hospital in Health District 7at .05 level namely workplace health promotion in human resource management dimensions, organizational results dimensions and physical and mental health dimensions.
