Factors affecting the digital literacy of Phra Yuen Hospital personnel, Khon Kaen Province

Abstract

This Cross-Sectional descriptive research aimed to study factors affecting the digital literacy of Phra Yuen Hospital personnel, Khon Kaen Province. A sample group of 122 people. Data was collected using a questionnaire between September to December 2024. The data were analyzed using statistical software packages. Statistical analysis included descriptive statistics and performing stepwise multiple regression analysis. The results showed that samples were female 85.25 percent, average age 37.85 years, standard deviation 9.79, bachelor's degree education 74.59 percent. professional nurse 33.61 percent, and support personnel 33.61 percent. The samples have received training in the use of information technology 58.20% Overview of digital literacy of Phra Yuen Hospital personnel Overall, it is at a moderate level (=2.22, SD=0.65). Classified by aspect, it was found that most at high level included Cognition (=2.59, S.D.=0.69), Analysis (=2.51, S.D.=0.75), Evaluation (=2.16, S.D.=0.99), Teamwork (=2.35, S.D.=0.88), Ethics (=2.43, S.D.=0.87), Law literacy (=2.61, S.D.=0.80), and Safeguarding self (=2.62, S.D.=0.75). Only Presentation aspect was at a low level (=1.61, S.D.=1.11). Results from analysis of variables that can be jointly predicted digital literacy of Phra Yuen Hospital personnel showed that Skill, Staff, Style and System can predict digital literacy of Phra Yuen Hospital personnel about 69 percent with a statistically significance at the 0.05 level
(p-value <0.001, 0.001, 0.001, 0.003, respectively).
