The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between selected factors and outcomes of laparoscopic treatment in patients with complicated acute appendicitis, Kalasin hospital: a study and review of empirical data. The population and sample are medical records of 88 patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria between January and December 2023. The research instrument was a detailed data recording form from patient medical records. It consists of 2 parts: Part 1: Basic patient information and selected factors, Part 2: Results of laparoscopic surgery. Passed the validity review, and the reliability using tryout and test-retest method was .87. Data were analyzed with computer programs using percentage, mean, and standard deviation, and correlation analysis. The research results as follows. The results of the endoscopic surgery; 1-port laparoscopic surgery was used 68.18%. The surgical method was changed to open appendectomy 82.95%. No drainage was inserted 55.68%. Surgical wound infection was low level at 1.14%. Bowel ileus during day 0 post operative was 42.04%. Not reveal any postoperative pneumonia. The average surgery time was 41.70 minutes, the average blood loss during surgery was 13.09 ml., the average hospital stay was 4.36 days, and the average cost during treatment was 28,682.22 baht., Finally, there was a high correlation between changing the surgical method and the number of days hospitalized. Next, there was a high correlation between changing the surgical method and the occurrence of bowel ileus.
