Factors Effecting to Worker’s Health Promotion Behavior in Industrial Factories Muang District Nakhon Ratchasima Province

Abstract

The purpose of this survey research was to study factors effecting to workers health promoting behavior in Industrial factories, muang distric Nakhon Ratchasima province. PRECEDE – PROCEED Model combined with Pender’s health promotion lifestyle.were applied for the study the predisposing factors,enabling factors,reinforcing factors to effecting to worker's health promoting behavior in Industrial factories Four random selected by Stratified Random Sampling technique. the 400 sample worker's were selected by total werkers 19,567 werkers The questionnaires were applied to design the conceptual frame work by dada,over tesis about health promotions.Content validity by expert ,Reliability by samping the same population 30 person and analysis with Cronbach's coefficient alpha. Data were collected from january 2005 to March 2005 through questionnaires. Frequency, Percentage distribution, mean, median, standard deviation, minimum-maximum, one way analyzis of variance, Multiple regression analysis were used to analyze the data Results of The survey revealed that predisposing factors were age, health status perceptions. Enabling factorswere and distance from their residence to sport field, hospital or health center, Policy health promotion. Reinforcing factors were receiving health information from mass media and other persons including social support. These factors had significant relationships with health promotion behaviors (p-value<0.05). on multiple regression analysis it was found the best predictor in predisposing, enabling, reinforcing factors, respectively was social support health status perceptions and receiving health information from mass media and other Persons (p-value <0.001).
