Abstract

This study have the purpose to increase the efficiency of the secretary’ s duty on the directing and supporting of the high authority’s tasks be able to work more convenient, faster, and effective. Also, in order to create the exchange of knowledge and experience in secretary’s work for have personality development, have a good attitude towards the secretarial work to be able to work happily and establish the networks on the tasks of the secretaries in the Ministry of Public Health through the workshop method with the intention of developing the executive secretary in the Central Public Health Ministry. It has lecture and work shop courses which’s includes: (1) The pleasure on coordination which is the activity that creates familiarity and creates the coordination network. (2)Communication with service which is the lecture about good communication and key principles of transmit the meaning of the message. (3) Creating the joyful teams which is the lecture about the good characteristics of the good teams that coordinate for the organization benefits. (4) Development of the suitable working personality which is the description on the theory and practice of dress appropriately, timely and social manners. And (5) Sharing opinion which is the activities for the secretaries to participant and share their experience and opinions from the secretarial work. The finding of the results show that the participants have satisfaction with the courses, instructors and the general management in the workshops. It’s also found that the participant’s satisfaction are very positive in every evaluation topics. In addition, the secretaries also recommend in the evaluation forms that it should be add more of workshops in several topics ,for instance, financial regulations, civil servants regulations, English language, computer utilization and IT skills, the electronic document correspondence system, official government form writing ,and the organization engagement. instance, financial regulations, civil servants regulations, English language, computer utilization and IT skills, the electronic document correspondence system, official government form writing ,and the organization engagement.
