Evaluation of the Operations District Health Board’s, Nakhon Ratchasima Province

Abstract

This research is a mixed methods research. With the objective to study the situation, problems, and solutions to problems of operations. Along with evaluating the performance of District health board’s, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The sample in this study comprise as the District health board of Pak Chong District, Nong Bun Mak District and Lam Thamenchai District, have 63 people. The research instruments are document analysis form, questionnaire and in-depth interview form. Quantitative data analysis were presented in percentage, frequency, mean and standard deviation. Qualitative data were presented by classification and categorize information according to relevant concepts and theories.

The results showed that (1) District health operation situations: The issues that are being driven in each district from agreements from all sectors, discussed together which each district determines the driving issues differently according to the context of each area. Including accidents, the first 1,000 days of life, non-communicable diseases, dengue prevention and control, care for the elderly and disabled and good health at Lam Thamachai District. The most operations there are problems of reflection data to communities are unclear resulting in the community not being seriously aware of safety. The solution to the problem is to reflection data through various ways such as meeting the community leaders, etc. (2) Evaluation of the Operations District Health Board’s, in overall, the District health board was satisfied with the roles of the District health board at the high level ( = 4.12, S.D. = .62). (2) The operating efficiency was at a good level ( = 4.16, S.D. = .69).
