Developing a Process for Health Strategic Plan Administration in Nakhon Ratchasima Province

Abstract

This research was the Action Research. The purpose of this study was to study the situation of health strategic plan administration. (2) Developed the policy process and health strategic plans. (3) Developed processes for implementing health strategies to action. (4) Developed processes for controlled, superved, and evaluated health strategic plans and (5) Evaluated health strategic plan administration process in Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The sample group of this research was health personnel involved process administering the Strategic Health Plan 240 people. The research. Instruments were questionnaires and group discussions, quantitative data analysis. The statistical used frequency, number, percentage, mean, standard deviation, qualitative data by data classification.

The results of this research found that: (1) The health strategic plan for 2018 as a guideline framework for the preparation of the health action plan. (2) Organize workshop to improve the key content of the strategic plan, and define indicators according to 4 strategies. (3) The development of the process of converting the strategic plan into an action plan consists of 3 steps such as: (3.1) Emphasis on designing activities to be consistent with service place levels according to the Service Plan in Nakhon Ratchasima Province. (3.2) Operated by agencies under the Provincial Public Health Office at all levels, preparing an annual action plan. (3.3) Transfer of strategic plans to practitioners by health strategies manual of Nakhon Ratchasima Province for the year 2019. (4) Developed health performance evaluation system by evaluating both quantitative and qualitative performance according to the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Health Strategic Plan 2 times. (5) Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Public Health Office has role and responsibility in formulating a provincial health strategic plan, budget for implementing the action plan linked from the Health Strategic Plan 2019 at the provincial/district/sub-district level, linking the strategic plan to the action plan by using principles under the framework of Six building blocks. The performance in accordance with Health District 9 indicators 93.02 percent this goal was number 1 of the 9th Health District region.
