The Effect Health Literacy Programs of Malaria Control and Eradication on Village Health Volunteers Family Doctor in Nong Bua Rawe District Chaiyaphum Province

The studied was quasi-experimental research.It was used the one group pretest posttest design. The purposes are to studied general information and studied the results of health literacy enhancement programs on malaria control and eradication of the village health volunteers family doctor in Nong Bua Rawe District Chaiyaphum Province. That studied between December 2021 and February 2022. The study was conducted among number of 116 village health volunteers family doctor by purposive sampling random. The materials the instrument for collecting data was health literacy questionnaire on malaria control and eradication. The general information, health literacy on malaria control and practices on malaria control and elimination were analyzed by percentage, mean and standard deviation. The health literacy on malaria control revel and practices on malaria control and elimination were analyzed by T-Test.
The results found the general information of the sample was mostly female, 64.40%, average age 48.31 years, and the highest education at secondary school 52.60%. After the trial, the level of health literacy on malaria control and eradication score increased significantly.Before entering the program, there was a moderate level of health literacy in malaria control and elimination. and after entering the program is at a good level. The finding found that it can increase the level of health literacy in the control and elimination of malaria by village health volunteers family doctor and can be used to enhance the performance of VHV in prevention, control and elimination of malaria.
