Effects of Preventive Health Program on Oil Truck Drivers : case Study of Company in Nakorn Ratchasima Province

Abstract

The  jective of this quasi-experimental research was to study the effects of preventive health program on oil truck truck drivers : case study of company in Nakorn Ratchasima Province.  The sample of this study was 40 local this study was oil truck drivers who have passed the test work performed as a full-time employee, oil truck driver position at a company in Nakhon Ratchasima The sample was selected based on a purposive sampling. The variables of study included  knowledge ,attitude and safe driving behavior in oil truck drivers. research instruments were the knowledge development program on prevention of health impacts use and the questionnaire with the reliability of 0.85, 0.80, 0.89. Data were analyzed using statistics including percentage, mean, standard deviation and paired samples t-test.

The results of this research indicated that after the experiment, the respondents had on average higher knowledge ,attitude and safe driving behavior preventive health  on oil truck truck drivers.use than before with a statistical significance level of 0.05. The findings of this study indicated that the effects of preventive health program on oil truck  drivers  could enhance knowledge ,attitude and safe driving behavior in oil truck drivers. Recommendations for the next research operation should add a control group to the trial. To develop research to increase reliability and to prevent accidents from driving tanker trucks.
