บทคัดย่อ
วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่อศึกษาทักษะที่ไม่ใช่เชิงเทคนิคของพยาบาลห้องผ่าตัดขณะทำหน้าที่ส่งเครื่องมือผ่าตัด และความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างอายุ ประสบการณ์การทำงาน ประเภทของการผ่าตัดกับทักษะที่ไม่ใช่เชิงเทคนิคของพยาบาลห้องผ่าตัด
รูปแบบการวิจัย: วิจัยเชิงพรรณา
วิธีดำเนินการวิจัย: การสังเกตทักษะที่ไม่ใช่เชิงเทคนิคของพยาบาลส่งเครื่องมือผ่าตัดขณะปฏิบัติงานในโรงพยาบาลระดับมหาวิทยาลัยแห่งหนึ่งในประเทศไทย จำนวน 99 คน โดยใช้แบบสังเกตของ Rhona Flin ซึ่งประกอบด้วย 3 ด้าน คือ การตระหนักถึงสถานการณ์ที่เป็นปัญหา การสื่อสารและการทำงานเป็นทีม และการบริหารจัดการงานที่สำคัญ ค่าความเที่ยงระหว่างผู้สังเกตของแบบสังเกต คำนวณด้วย Cohen’s kappa ได้ค่าเท่ากับ .99 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา สัมประสิทธ์สหสัมพันธ์ของเพียร์สัน และการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนร่วม
ผลการวิจัย: กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีทักษะที่ไม่ใช่เชิงเทคนิค อยู่ในระดับมาตรฐานเป็นที่ยอมรับทั้งสามด้าน คือ 1) ด้านการบริหารจัดการงานที่สำคัญ = 3.21, SD = .46 2) ด้านการตระหนักถึงสถานการณ์ที่เป็นปัญหา
= 3.15, SD = .56 และ 3) ด้านการสื่อสารและการทำงานเป็นทีม
= 3.05, SD = .53 ผลการวิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างตัวแปรพบว่า อายุ และประสบการณ์การทำงาน มีความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวกกับทักษะที่ไม่ใช่เชิงเทคนิคของพยาบาลส่งเครื่องมือผ่าตัดอย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ .05 (r = .263, p < .01 และ r = .386, p < .01 ตามลำดับ) ประเภทการผ่าตัดที่ยุ่งยากซับซ้อนมาก ใช้ทักษะที่ไม่ใช่เชิงเทคนิคโดยรวม และด้านการบริหารจัดการงานที่สำคัญสูงกว่าประเภทการผ่าตัดแบบอื่น (F = 3.609, p < .05 และ F = 5.787, p < .01 ตามลำดับ)
สรุปและข้อเสนอแนะ: ทักษะที่ไม่ใช่เชิงเทคนิคเป็นทักษะที่สำคัญที่พยาบาลส่งเครื่องมือผ่าตัดต้องมี ดังนั้นพยาบาลกลุ่มนี้จำเป็นต้องรักษามาตรฐานของทักษะดังกล่าวไว้ ควรมีการจัดการฝึกอบรมเพื่อพัฒนาทักษะที่ไม่ใช่เชิงเทคนิคให้อยู่เหนือระดับมาตรฐานด้วย เพื่อเพิ่มความปลอดภัยให้ผู้ป่วยในห้องผ่าตัด และเป็นแบบอย่างแก่ผู้อื่นต่อไป
