Focus and Scope

Objectives
     1. To publish academic research in nursing-Midwifery and health science innovation

     2. To disseminate health care knowledge, Emphasis is placed on continuity of care and the use of innovation in nursing.

Scope

This journal publishes academic papers on nursing and public health of all health conditions and ages. The Journal is particularly focused on the continuity of care and usage of innovation in nursing, including nursing integrated with eastern wisdom. The journal receives articles from students, lecturers, nurses, and academics in Thailand and other countries. The articles can be both in Thai and English that provide new knowledge, which can improve nursing and public health, can be divided into two types:

  • Research articles (both qualitative and quantitative) on nursing and public health in various fields. The data used for the analysis and presentation of research results shall not exceed five years from the end of data collection and the research process must be considered and approved for research ethics.
  • Academic articles including literature reviews, case studies, and nursing innovation that gather or are compiled from documents, case studies, or books to disseminate academic work related to nursing and public health.

 Peer Review Process

Journal of Research in Nursing-Midwifery and Health Sciences receives both academic articles and research articles both in Thai and English for publication. Each article must be reviewed by at least three experts (both internal and external reviewers) before publication (double-blind peer-reviewed). The qualified reviewers must be an expert in nursing, with specific experience and work expertise in each field. 

Publication Frequency
Journal of Research in Nursing-Midwifery and Health Sciences is published by the Faculty of Nursing, Prince of Songkla University. The journal publishes articles in online with three issues per year as follows:  

           Issue 1: January – April

           Issue 2: May – August

           Issue 3: September – December

Thai articles

   - Internal and external students 2,900 baht

   - Internal personnel 3,900 baht

   - External personnel 4,900 baht

English articles

   - Internal and external students 3,900 baht

   - Internal personnel 5,900 baht

   - External personnel 6,500 baht

Persons who wish to submit an article for publication in a journal should note that the publishing fee required by the journal must be paid only after receiving an acknowledgment that their article has been reviewed by experts.
