บทคัดย่อ
ศตวรรษที่ 21 เป็นช่วงเวลาการเปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างมาก ทั้งด้านเทคโนโลยี เศรษฐกิจ สังคม วัฒนธรรม และสุขภาพ สาเหตุจากเทคโนโลยีที่ก้าวหน้าแบบก้าวกระโดด ทำให้ผู้ใช้บริการเข้าถึงแหล่งข้อมูลการรักษาพยาบาล และเข้ารับบริการสะดวกมากขึ้น จึงมีความคาดหวังสูงต่อบริการทางการแพทย์และการพยาบาล นับเป็นความท้าทายต่อวิชาชีพพยาบาลอย่างยิ่ง ที่จำเป็นต้องปรับตัว ปรับรูปแบบ และพัฒนางานบริการทางการพยาบาล รวมทั้งสร้างแบรนด์ของตนเองให้สอดคล้องตอบสนองความต้องการ และความคาดหวังของผู้ใช้บริการในศตวรรษที่ 21
บทความวิชาการนี้ นำเสนอแบรนด์พยาบาลไทยในศตวรรษที่ 21 แนวโน้มการเปลี่ยนแปลงด้านสุขภาพของผู้ใช้บริการ การกำหนดและพัฒนาสมรรถนะเชิงวิชาชีพพยาบาล ที่ครอบคลุมการพัฒนาด้านความรู้และทักษะการดูแลแบบทางเลือกหรือแบบผสมผสาน ความเข้าใจในความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรม การพัฒนาความสามารถในการใช้ภาษาต่างประเทศเป็นภาษาที่สอง และการมีทักษะด้านเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศทางการพยาบาล เพื่อนำไปสู่การสร้างแบรนด์ของตนเอง สามารถดำรงเอกลักษณ์พยาบาลไทย และมีความเข้มแข็งด้านวิชาชีพพยาบาล รวมถึงการนำเสนอกรณีตัวอย่างของการพัฒนาสมรรถนะดังกล่าวในหลักสูตรพยาบาลศาสตรบัณฑิต ของคณะพยาบาลศาสตร์แมคคอร์มิค มหาวิทยาลัยพายัพ
