บทคัดย่อ
วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่อศึกษาความต้องการจำเป็นในการพัฒนาสมรรถนะและวิธีพัฒนาสมรรถนะพยาบาลวิชาชีพที่ดูแลผู้ป่วยวิกฤตศัลยกรรมหัวใจ หลอดเลือดและทรวงอก ภาคใต้ วิธีการ: การวิจัยแบบบรรยาย ประชากรเป้าหมาย คือ พยาบาลวิชาชีพที่ดูแลผู้ป่วยวิกฤตศัลยกรรมหัวใจ หลอดเลือด และทรวงอกภาคใต้ จำนวน 127 คน เครื่องมือวิจัย คือ แบบสอบถาม 2 ส่วน คือ 1) ข้อมูลทั่วไป 2) ความต้องการจำเป็นในการพัฒนาสมรรถนะ ส่วนที่ 1 และ 2 ตรวจสอบความตรงเชิงเนื้อหาโดยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ 3 ท่าน ได้ Content Validity Index = 1.0 และ 0.97 ตามลำดับ ส่วนที่ 1 ค่าความเที่ยงสมรรถนะตามสภาพที่เป็นอยู่ และสมรรถนะที่คาดหวัง ที่ Cronbach's Alpha Coefficient = 0.99 ส่วนที่ 2 ค่าความเที่ยง Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient = 0.87 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้สถิติ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ความถี่ ร้อยละ paired sample t-test และค่า Modified Priority Needs Index (PNImodified)ผลการศึกษา: ค่าเฉลี่ยสมรรถนะตามสภาพที่เป็นอยู่ อยู่ในระดับมาก ค่าเฉลี่ยสมรรถนะที่คาดหวังอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด
มีค่าเฉลี่ยสมรรถนะที่คาดหวังสูงกว่าสมรรถนะตามสภาพที่เป็นอยู่อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p < .01) ความต้องการจำเป็นในการพัฒนาสมรรถนะ ลำดับแรก คือ การพัฒนาคุณภาพและงานวิจัยทางการพยาบาล ลำดับที่ 2 คือ การช่วยแพทย์ทำหัตถการ และลำดับที่ 3 คือ การบริหารยา วิธีพัฒนาสมรรถนะที่ต้องการ คือ การเรียนรู้จากผู้มีประสบการณ์ และการฝึกอบรมในหน่วยงาน สรุป: พยาบาลวิชาชีพที่ดูแลผู้ป่วยวิกฤตศัลยกรรมหัวใจ หลอดเลือดและทรวงอก ภาคใต้ ต้องการพัฒนาสมรรถนะด้านการพัฒนาคุณภาพและงานวิจัยทางการพยาบาล การช่วยแพทย์ทำหัตถการและการบริหารยา จากการเรียนรู้จากผู้มีประสบการณ์และการฝึกอบรมในหน่วยงาน
