Abstract

Uterine scar dehiscence is a complication in pregnancy, and can lead to uterine rupture that cause maternal death, therapeutic abortion and preterm cesarean section and increase perinatal complications.  A case of a 39-year-old gravida 2 para 1 gestational age 22 weeks visit Chandrubeksa hospital with bleeding per vagina after midpregnancy. She did not has uterine tenderness and no sign broken bag of water. She went to sonogram examination that found viable fetus with oligohydramnios and uterine scar dehiscence, ruptured uterus was a most likely diagnosis. Patient was referred to Siriraj Hospital then 7 days later she received hysterotomy operation for terminate pregnancy because of uncontrolled vaginal bleeding.
