Principle of Bone Tissue Engineering
Main Article Content
Abstract
Tissue engineering is a combination of knowledge in the field of Biological Science & Engineering for development Biomaterial which will reconstruct or maintain the function of the tissue. At present, most of bone replacement surgeries still use autologous bone grafts (autograft) as the main surgical material. However, autograft has some limitations. Therefore, many studies have been made to develop bone substitute and bone grafting materials to obtain materials that have similar properties to autograft.
