บทคัดย่อ

การปฏิบัติภารกิจรักษาสันติภาพของกองร้อยทหารช่างเฉพาะกิจ ไทย/เซาท์ซูดาน (Thai HMEC) ภายใต้ภารกิจสหประชาชาติ (UNMISS) ต้องเผชิญหน้ากับภัยคุกคามความมั่นคงรูปแบบใหม่จากการระบาดของโรคไวรัสอีโบลา (EVD) ในทวีปแอฟริกา ล่าสุดในเดือนพฤษภาคม ค.ศ. 2026 องค์การอนามัยโลก (WHO) ได้ประกาศให้การแพร่ระบาดของโรคไวรัสอีโบลาสายพันธุ์บุนดีบูโจ (Bundibugyo ebolavirus) ในสาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยคองโกและยูกันดาเป็นภาวะฉุกเฉินด้านสาธารณสุขระหว่างประเทศ (PHEIC) ส่งผลให้สาธารณรัฐเซาท์ซูดานมีความเสี่ยงสูงทางระบาดวิทยาเนื่องจากมีพรมแดนติดต่อกับพื้นที่ระบาด ความท้าทายสำคัญคือ สายพันธุ์บุนดีบูโจยังไม่มีวัคซีนหรือยารักษาเฉพาะทางที่ได้รับการรับรอง การควบคุมโรคจึงต้องอาศัยการทำเวชกรรมป้องกันและการคัดแยกผู้ป่วยเป็นหลัก โรงพยาบาลสนามระดับ 1 กองร้อยทหารช่างเฉพาะกิจไทย/เซาท์ซูดานผลัดที่ 6 จึงได้ยกระดับมาตรการเฝ้าระวังและการตรวจคัดกรองโรคในระยะแรกเริ่ม พร้อมทั้งบังคับใช้มาตรการป้องกันและควบคุมการติดเชื้ออย่างเคร่งครัด ผ่านการรณรงค์ล้างมือและติดตั้งจุดบริการแอลกอฮอล์เจลทั่วหน่วย นอกจากนี้ยังได้จัดเตรียมพื้นที่แยกโรค ตรวจสอบคลังชุดอุปกรณ์ป้องกันส่วนบุคคล (PPE) และจัดการฝึกอบรมความรู้ในการป้องกันตนเองแก่กำลังพลและบุคลากรทางการแพทย์อย่างต่อเนื่อง แม้ปัจจุบันจะ ยังไม่พบรายงานผู้ติดเชื้อภายในเซาท์ซูดาน แต่การเตรียมความพร้อมสายแพทย์อย่างเป็นระบบนี้ เป็นปัจจัยสำคัญในการเสริมสร้างความมั่นคงทางสุขภาพ ลดความเสี่ยงจากการติดเชื้อ และสนับสนุนให้กำลังพลปฏิบัติภารกิจได้อย่างเต็มขีดความสามารถและปลอดภัย
