Obstetric Ultrasound in Thailand

Abstract

Ultrasonographic imaging during pregnancy is widely viewed as an invaluable tool for obtaining important information about the pregnancy and the growing fetus. The attitude has led to its wide use as a universal screening tool. However, the two important issues that have to be addressed and answered are the value of routine obstetrical ultrasound and the quality assurance in obstetric ultrasound.
