The Promotion of Morals and Ethics of Nursing Students in the 21st Century

Abstract
Currently, nursing education institutes are acknowledging the importance of ethical promotion for nursing students in the 21st century. This article presented the way that Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Chakriraj has promoted the morals and ethics of nursing students as a case study. The policy to promote morals and ethics by cultivating nursing students to respect human beings and to provide humanistic health care was emphasized. The nursing students were trained by the self-sufficiency philosophy through the contemplative education process and family-like system. The projects and activities were implemented using the PDCA process for student development in teaching and learning activities and extra-curriculum activities. The nursing students reported that they were trained to have morals and ethics from a high to highest level, congruent with a report from stakeholders that they were satisfied with the college’s graduates in moral and ethical aspects at the highest level.
