Abstract

This systematic review aimed to explore existing evidence regarding health care programmes for older adults with diabetes mellitus in Thailand. Studies published between 2007 and 2017 were searched from the ThaiJO database and Google Scholar.           The researchers selected quasi-experimental studies with health care programmes for older adults with diabetes mellitus in Thailand using the research screening criteria developed by the researchers. Quality assessment of the studies were independently reviewed by two researchers following the levels of evidence of Jadad and others for evaluating the studies. The findings showed that there were nine eligible studies. These were quasi-experimental designed studies with comparison of control and experimental groups and the samples were older adults with diabetes mellitus. All studies reviewed showed efficiencies of the programme used according to theobjectives of the studies.
