Factors Influencing Self – Management Behaviors among Chronic kidney disease Undergoing Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis in Ubon Ratchathani Province

Abstract

This research aimed to study to the relationship and influence of bio-social factor, knowledge of the practices in undergoing continuous peritoneal dialysis, health beliefs and social support for self - management behaviors among chronic kidney disease undergoing continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis in Ubon Ratchathani Province. The findings of this study revealed 1. The predictive variables were the positive correlation with the criterion variables were knowledge of the practices in undergoing continuous peritoneal dialysis, the perceived risk of complications, the perceived severity of the disease, a social support factor of emotion, a social support factor of received about acceptance and value, a social support factor of participation and a being one part of social, a social support factor of finance, labor, matters and service, a social support factor of receiving information. 2.The best predictors variables for the chronic kidney disease undergoing continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis in Ubon Ratchathani Province was a social support factor of received about a acceptance and value, a knowledge of the practices in undergoing continuous peritoneal dialysis, bachelor degree, diploma and finance, labor, materials and services , Five variables can be explained the variance of the chronic kidney disease undergoing continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis in Ubon Ratchathani Province as 50.8 % 3.
