Satisfaction of 4th year students in Community Health Program, academic year 2016 on the quality of curriculum of Bachelor of Public Health (Community Health Program), Faculty of Public Health, Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University

Abstract

This is descriptive research which aim to study the satisfaction of 4th year Community Health Program students, academic year 2016 on the quality of curriculum of Bachelor of Public Health, Faculty of Public Health, Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University. The sample used to collect data are 130 of 4th year students in Community Health Program, Faculty of Public Health, Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University. The tools used to collect data were satisfaction assessment forms for the final year students on the quality of the curriculum. There were 5 levels of assessments on 6 different aspects: 1) course 2) instructor 3) learning environment 4) teaching and learning management 5) assessment and evaluation 6) the development of students’ attributes. The statistics used in the research were frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The research found that the 4th year students in Community Health Program, academic year 2016 were satisfied with the quality of the Bachelor of Public Health in Community Health program. Overview was very satisfied ( =3.92, SD = 0.76) and the category that students most satisfied with was instructors ( =4.04, SD = 0.72). The second highest group was the development of students’ attributes (=4.03, SD = 0.78) which followed by teaching and learning management ( =3.96, SD = 0.67), quality of the curriculum ( =3.93, SD = 0.77), assessment and evaluation ( =3.90, SD = 0.66), and the learning environment ( =3.63, SD = 0.87). The results of this study confirmed that there is a confidence in Bachelor of Public Health (Community Health, Faculty of Public Health, Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University. This is basic information that will be used to improve curriculum development as well as teaching and learning management.
