Psychiatric nurses’ role in mental health care of workers during the COVID-19 pandemic

Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has been one of the biggest crisis challenges worldwide. World Health Organization states it is a public health emergency of international concern and pandemic. This situation makes the majority of non-essential workers adapt their work and lifestyle such as working from home, less communication and interaction with others. Some workers lose jobs and income. The mental health problems are anxiety, stress, substance use, alcohol drinking depression and suicide. Psychiatric Nurses play a major role in mental health care through mental health promotion and protection including providing mental health support during post-pandemic.
