บทคัดย่อ
ประเทศไทยมีเจตนารมณ์เพื่อบรรลุเป้าหมายการยุติปัญหาเอดส์ตามยุทธศาสตร์แห่งชาติ
ว่าด้วยการยุติ ปัญหาเอดส์ พ.ศ. 2560 - 2573 โดยการพัฒนาปรับปรุงกลวิธีและรูปแบบ
จัดบริการที่มุ่งเน้นความปลอดภัยทั้งต่อผู้ให้บริการและผู้รับบริการเป็นไปตามหลักจริยธรรม
ซึ่งจากสถานการณ์การติดเชื้อเอชไอวีรายใหม่ในประเทศไทยปี 2567 พบว่า ร้อยละ 20 ของ
ผู้ติดเชื้อรายใหม่มาจากคู่ของผู้ติดเชื้อเอชไอวี ดังนั้นการชวนคู่ของ ผู้ติดเชื้อเอชไอวีมาตรวจ
หาการติดเชื้อเอชไอวี (index partner testing) จึงมีความสำคัญต่อการยุติปัญหาเอดส์
ในประเทศไทยเพื่อให้ทราบสถานะของตนเอง ซึ่งเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญของความสำเร็จ
ในการป้องกันการติดเชื้อ เอชไอวี โดยเฉพาะผู้ที่มีความเสี่ยงสูง เช่น กลุ่มประชากรหลัก
คู่และผู้สัมผัสของผู้ที่ติดเชื้อเอชไอวี รวมถึงวัยรุ่นที่เสี่ยงต่อการติดเชื้อโรคติดต่อทาง
เพศสัมพันธ์ จึงมีความจำเป็นที่จะต้องค้นหาผู้ที่ยังไม่ทราบสถานะการติดเชื้อเอชไอวี
ของตนเอง เพื่อทำให้ได้รับบริการดูแลที่เหมาะสมนำไปสู่การส่งต่อรับบริการดูแลรักษาได้
เร็วขึ้นลดการติดเชื้อเอชไอวีรายใหม่และลดการแพร่กระจายเชื้อเอชไอวี รวมถึงลดการเสียชีวิต
จากผู้ติดเชื้อเอชไอวีและเอดส์
