การศึกษานี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงพรรณนา มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาระดับคุณภาพชีวิตและปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ คุณภาพชีวิตและเปรียบเทียบคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้ติดเชื้อเอชไอวีและผู้ป่วยเอดส์ที่ได้รับการรักษาใน โรงพยาบาลของรัฐในจังหวัดชุมพร จำนวน 11 แห่ง
