การผ่าซีกฟันน้ำนมที่เชื่อมติดกัน: รายงานผู้ป่วย

ฟันที่เชื่อมติดกันเป็นความผิดปกติรูปแบบหนึ่งโดยมีการ รวมกันของเนื้อฟันและหรือเคลือบฟันขณะที่ฟันกำลังพัฒนา จำนวนมากกว่าหรือเท่ากับ 2 ซี่ การเชื่อมติดกันของฟันน้ำนม พบได้มากบริเวณฟันตัดซี่ข้างและฟันเขี้ยวล่าง สิ่งที่มักเกิดร่วมกับฟันน้ำนมที่เชื่อมติดกันคือ การหายไปของฟันแท้ในบริเวณนั้น วิธีการจัดการที่น่าสนใจคือ การผ่าซีกฟันที่เชื่อมติดกัน รายงานผู้ป่วยรายนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อแสดงถึงการรักษา ฟันน้ำนมที่เชื่อมติดกันโดยการผ่าซีกฟันแล้วถอนฟันส่วนหนึ่งออก หลังการรักษาเป็นเวลา 24 เดือน พบว่า ฟันส่วนที่เหลือ สามารถอยู่ในช่องปากได้อย่างปกติและเก็บพื้นที่ไว้สำหรับ ฟันแท้ จึงสามารถใช้เป็นอีกหนึ่งทางเลือกในการรักษา
