          When a minor illness, people tend to choose to use grocery stores. Because it is the nearest and most convenient service unit, but found that the grocery store sells other medicines besides household drug this cause inappropriate use of drugs. It is therefore very important to study the situation where drugs are prohibited from being sold in grocery stores. This will lead to the process of managing inappropriate drug use in the community in Pathumratchawongsa district. The objective was to study the situation of drug distribution in grocery stores Pathumratchawongsa district Amnatcharoen province, an exploratory research data were collected by a survey with a population data model, a total of 202 grocery store operators in the Pathumratchawongsa area, conducted during the year B.E. 2018-2020. Data analysis using descriptive statistics.

          Results from a survey of all grocery stores in Pathumratchawongsa district in the year 2018-2020, it was found that, in addition to household drugs the stores had the highest number of non-licensed drugs in grocery stores, including dangerous drugs, at 27.12, 17.32 and 16.58%, respectively. The route of drug distribution to community grocers based on the information available in 2018 and 2020, the highest ranked number one was drugstore (Khao Khor.1) in both years, accounting for 51.92 and 46.32%, respectively. The grocery store found that grocery operators should assist in the knowledge and understanding of drug distribution. Participation of network partners from all sectors creates a clear risk management surveillance, including having a surveillance center and knowledge source in the community causing safety in the selection of drugs, announced as a policy at the district level, make a MOU to set rules and regulations of the village proceed according to such rules. As a result, dangerous drugs in grocery stores are reduced.

          Operation of the drug distribution in the grocery store requires the cooperation of all involved parties and has continued to operate in terms of educating, advises, use of community mechanisms in order to achieve the correct distribution of medicines, free of dangerous drugs in every store and there should be studies on the factors of inappropriate drug sales in grocery stores. for proper problem management in each factor.
