Abstract

          Knowledge attitudes and practices regarding antibiotics use in outpatients at Sirattana Hospital. This descriptive research aimed to study the level of knowledge attitudes and practices regarding antibiotics use in outpatients at Sirattana Hospital, Sirattana district, Sisaket province with personal factors are different.  The sample of 180 people, were interviewed using a structures questionnaire. The descriptive analysis is performed and the results to be presenting as percentages, means, standard deviations, F-test and t-test will be used to compare the means of two groups. Least Significant Difference (LSD) is used for hypothesis testing.

          The study showed, the level of knowledge attitudes and practices, Overall in the high (= 0.74, = 3.89, =3.94). The comparison of knowledge attitudes and practices regarding antibiotics use with different personal factors. It was found that the samples with different gender and age, the attitudes and practice not different but knowledge was significantly different (p<.05). The samples with different marital status, the knowledge not different but attitudes and practices was significantly different (p<.05). The samples with different education level occupation and income, the knowledge attitudes and practices was significantly different (p<.05).
