Abstract

This study purposed to Development of Rational Drug Use Community Stewardship Program in Phayu District, Sisaket Province and compare score and level of rational drug use literacy before and after education among people in Ban Non Snow community, Promsawat subdistrict, Phayu district, Sisaket province. The Pretest-Posttest design was used in the experimental study with the paired sample t-test (p < 0.05) in data analysis. One hundred seven subjects of the sample group were chosen form every household in this community. The tool is the questionnaire about rational drug use literacy.

          The results showed the most of sample group were female (61.7%), ages ranged from 41 to 50 years (36.4%), primary education level (72%),  farmers (76.6%), no congenital disease (71.1%), general public (83.2%). The result of education shows the increase in their score of rational drug use literacy with significantly statistical values 6.21 ± 2.46 and 11.17 ± 2.69 (p < 0.001). Level of rational drug use literacy increase from medium to good level. Next study should be integrate Good Private Sector and Community Participation factor to the study.
