Abstract

             This cross-sectional survey study aim was to examine drug store assessment results in Phetchaburi Province, including the factors affecting assessment results Based on Good Pharmacy Practice. The samples, collected from June to July 2022, covered 102 Modern drug stores in Phetchaburi Province.  Structured questionnaires and Good Pharmacy Practice Assessment Record were used for data collection. Statistics employed in this study were descriptive statistics, including percentage, average, and standard deviation. Hypothesis testing in inferential statistics were also used, including chi-square test. According to the assessment results, every category came to over 80 percent on average. Category 2 Equipment got the highest with 92.3869 percent, and the total assessment results earned 88.2989 percent. Factors that affected drug store assessment results in Phetchaburi Province were sex, occupation, monthly income, marital status, Drug store type, open hours, District, building ownership, and Operation period. Age, education, and the number of pharmacists have no influence on the assessment results.            

If there are further research studies on other factors, especially in low-performing pharmacies or the ones that do not passed the assessment, and setting development guidelines to improve drug stores. When drug stores had developed according to the practice , therefore the assessment has been conducted increasingly in the form of Routine to Research. People will also receive services from quality drug stores.
