Assessment Tools in Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory disease that effects the patient’s personality, work and social that decline the quality of life. The major problem in treatment of psoriasis is evaluation of the disease severity .Even though there are many scoring systems but none is the best. Further more there are too many details of the scoring systems that are not clinically practical. This paper summarized the scoring system (characteristics and severity of rashs) for the readers to choose the proper scoring system in clinical practice.
