โรค Erdheim-Chester เป็นโรคในกลุ่ม non-Langerhans histiocytosis ที่พบได้น้อย โดยมีอาการแสดงที่เกิดจากการแทรกซึมของ non-Langerhans histiocytes ในอวัยวะระบบต่างๆของร่างกาย ปัจจุบันมีรายงานผู้ป่วยจำนวนน้อยกว่า 500 ราย รายงานฉบับนี้นำเสนอผู้ป่วยชายอายุ 52 ปี มีอาการปวดศีรษะ มองเห็นภาพซ้อน ร่วมกับอาการปวดหัวเข่าเป็นอาการนำ และมีรอยโรคของผื่นไขมันที่เปลือกตาเป็นระยะเวลานานกว่า 1 ปี
