Abstract

The purposes of this study were to develop a group process learning system through tablets to improve interpersonal skills and responsibilities of students in Institute of Physical Education and to investigate the effects of implementing the developed group process learning system through tablets to improve interpersonal skills and responsibilities of students. This study consisted of 2 phases, development and implementation phases. The first phase was designed to develop group process learning system through tablets to improve interpersonal skills and responsibilities of students by using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology. The second phase was designed to implement the developed system to the students. The sampling method was assigned into two groups, 28 students in an experimental group studying with the developed system and 24 students in control group studying with usual instruction. Data were analyzed by using mean, standard deviation and t-test. The research findings indicated that the group process learning system through tablets to improve interpersonal skills and responsibilities of students in Institute of Physical Education consisted of 3 components: 1) information system for learning management 2) learning process and 3) learning outcomes. The efficiency of the developed system was validated at a “high” level by the panel of experts. The students’ learning achievement of experimental group showed that the post-test scores was “higher” than the pre-test scores.  The students’ learning achievement in the experimental group was “higher” than that in the control group.  The students also rated their satisfactions on the developed system at the “highest” level as well.
