EXERCISE BEHAVIORS OF WORKING – AGE POPULATION USING EXERCISE FACILITIES IN CHIANG MAI PROVINCE

Abstract
The purpose of this research was to study exercise behaviors of working - age population using exercise facilities in Chiang Mai Province. was working - age population of 300 people, who used exercise facilities in Chiang Mai Province. The instruments used for this research were a questionnaire and an interview form, data were analyzed by using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and T-test independent and F-test.
The research results were as follows.
- The behaviors of the working - age people who use exercise facilities in Chiang Mai Province. Most of them were males between the age of 30 - 39 years old. Most of them were single status and graduated with a bachelor's degree. Salary between 10,001 - 25,000 baths per month.
- For general information on the exercise behaviors of the working - age population using exercise facilities in Chiang Mai Province most of them exercise 3 - 4 times a week at the period of 5.01- 6.00 pm for 30 - 60 minutes per time for the most important purpose of releasing stress.
- The exercise behaviors of the working - age population form respondents. It was found that the exercise behaviors of the working - age population were regular exercise.
- Exercise behaviors of working age population using exercise facilities in Chiang Mai Province were found statistically significant at .05. The individual factors in each aspect were compared such as age, status, and degree were statistically significant at .05.
