THE EFFECT OF GROUP EXERCISE "ONE - HANDED SWORD COURSE" HAS AN EFFECT ON PHYSICAL FITNESS

Abstract
The research aims to study the effects of a group exercise program "One - Handed Sword Course" on physical fitness. The sample were 40 females who volunteered to be a research sample and were divided into a control group of 20 persons who exercised as usual and an experimental group of 20 persons who participated in a group exercise program by using the “One - Handed Sword Course”. The research tools were the group exercise program “One - Handed Sword Course” and Physical Fitness Test Program. The physical fitness test data were collected before and after the experiment at 4 weeks and 8 weeks using data analysis for comparing within-group differences between pre-exercise and after the exercise, one-way ANOVA was used and the differences between groups were compared by independent t-test. The results were as follows:
- The group exercise program "One-handed sword course" consisted of 15 one-handed sword exercises, divided into 3 sets of 5 poses each, and a 10-track exercise program.
- Results of the experimental group exercise program "One-Handed Sword Course" on the physical fitness of the subjects. After exercise, it improved as follows:
2.1 Physical fitness in the experimental group before and after 8 weeks of exercise, it was found that the standing-sitting test for 60 seconds and the knee lift test for 3 minutes showed statistical differences at the .05 level of significance.
2.2 Physical fitness between the control group and the experimental group after the 8th week of the experiment, it was found that standing up and down knees for 3 minutes found a statistical difference at the .05 level of significance.
