PROBLEMS AND GUIDELINES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF PENCAK SILAT TRAINING FOR ATHLETES OF THAILAND NATIONAL SPORTS UNIVERSITY, YALA CAMPUS

Abstract
Sports training is essential in developing athletes towards excellence. This research aims to study problems and guidelines for developing Pencak Silat sports training of athletes. National Sports University, Yala Campus. The sample consisted of Pencak Silat athlete sports trainer sports office personnel A total of 76 teachers and instructors were selected by purposive sampling. The research tools were questionnaires and interviews in 7 aspects: management Sports Instructor Athlete Training Athlete's health Venue and training equipment and teaching management questionnaire and interview form had validity values (Validity) for both versions equal to 0.86 and 0.89 confidence values. (Reliability) is equal to 0.90 and 0.95 respectively. Data were analyzed by percentage, mean and standard deviation and content analysis The results of the research revealed 1) Problems in practicing Panchak Silat sports. Overall, there were moderate sports training problems, an average of 3.46. The most problematic aspect was the management aspect, which had a high level of 3.66, followed by teaching and learning management, which had a high level of 3.62 and Pencak Silat athletes which had a high level of 3.59. There should be a management system for sports practice consistent with teaching and learning, creating attitudes, life skills, social skills, and ethics for athletes. Adjust training plans that link sports trainers. Instructors and athletes develop the potential of sports coaches, and the performance of athletes continuously focuses on nutrition weight control Motivation to study and practice sports. Set guidelines for measuring and evaluating academic results that are conducive to athletes. and determine the number of sports practice hours in place of the number of hours participating in the activities of the Faculty and Campus.
