THE DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING MANAGEMENT MODEL FOR FOURTH-YEAR PHYSICAL EDUCATION STUDENT TEACHERS BY USING PEDAGOGICAL CONTENT KNOWLEDGE

Abstract
This research aimed were to develop a learning management model for fourth-year physical education student teachers by using Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) and to study the effectiveness of using the learning management model development for fourth-year physical education student teachers by using PCK. The sample group were 10 people who were register coaching strategies in badminton in the 1st semester of 2024 at TNSU Chumphon campus by purposively selected. The research instruments consisted of 1) The learning management plan with learning goals related to PCK for physical education student teachers – the content validity was approved by 7 experts at IOC = 1.00, 2) the learning management assessment form for physical education student teachers using the PCK – The content validity was approved by 7 experts at IOC between 0.8-1.0) as well as the Cronbach alpha coefficient correlation reliability was .90, and 3) the focus group discussion form - The content validity was approved by 3 experts at IOC = 1.00). Data were analyzed by using mean, standard deviation, t - test dependent and analyze qualitative data.
The major results revealed that:
- The learning management model for fourth-year physical education student teachers by using PCK has content validity that can use for research.
- After using the learning management model for fourth-year physical education student teachers by using PCK was effective in promoting PCK of physical education student teachers. It was found that it improved the statistical significantly at level of .05.
- The results of the focus group discussion after the student teachers in the Physical Education major had their teaching experience training indicated that the student teachers in the Physical Education major had PCK of all 4 components and were able to apply the PCK to the physical education learning management in schools.
