Vajira Medical Journal: Journal of Urban Medicine is now granted to TCI tier 1 following the announcement of The Thai-Journal Citation Index (TCI) Center on February 4th, 2025. The certification is effective from January 1st, 2025 until December 31st, 2029.
The Thai-Journal Citation Index (TCI) Center hosted the 15th Symposium for Thai Journal Development Network on February 4th, 2025, at the Royal Jubilee Ballroom, Impact Challenger, Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi, Thailand. Prof. Jitti Hanprasertpong, editor in chief, and journal manager were honored to be attending. The goals of this symposium were the updating national policies regarding research and Thai-journal quality as well as the announcement of Thai journal quality tiers (5th round).

Thai-Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI) held the symposium for defining the TCI Thai Journals' fifth round quality criteria for 2025–2029. It was held on August 9th, 2023 at Convention Centre, Rama Gardens Hotel, Bangkok. Prof. Jitti Hanprasertpong, the editor in chief of Vajira Medical Journal: Journal of Urban Medicine, participated this symposium. There were the important topics to clarify Thai Journals, for example, TCI Thai Journal’s ethics, 2025-2029 quality criteria for estimation and TCI fast tracking index. Read more >
