Successful Treatment with Concurrent Antithyroid Drugs and Radioactive Iodine Treatment in Severe Graves’ Disease: 3 Case Reports

Abstract

Three cases of severe Graves’ disease were successfully treated with concurrent antithyroid drugs and radioactive iodine. Our team provided lower dose of antithyroid drugs prior to radioactive iodine treatment and administered a fixed dose of radioiodine (30 milicuries) to each patient. All patients were successfully treated within 6 months. No severe complications were is observed.
