Ectopic Pregnancy: Update Management

Ectopic pregnancy is one of emergency gynecologic problems requiring early diagnosis and treatment to prevent serious complications. Now, there are many methods to diagnose ectopic pregnancy in early gestational age with small unruptured ectopic pregnancy mass. Then the management has been changed from exploratory salpingectomy removing the whole fallopian tube to laparoscopic conservative surgery removing only conceptive product. This technique can preserve the fallopian tube and fertility of the patients. Moreover there are alternative modalities for this group of patients such as medical treatment or conservative management for the selected patients.
