Elderly health care process by participating in the Napo Yai community, Mukdahan Subdistrict, Mueang District, Mukdahan Province

Abstract

This action research aimed to study the process of developing the elderly health care model participating by Napa Yai community, Mukdahan Subdistrict, Mueang District, Mukdahan Province. 20 elderly and 20 network partners collect both quantitative data And qualitative By using the generated tools and analyzing the data using descriptive statistics such as mean, percentage, standard deviation and analyzing qualitative data by content analysis. The study indicated that The process of developing the elderly health care model by participating in this community had 8 steps, namely (1) studying the context and the problem condition (2) returning information from the study (3) participatory workshop To prepare the plan (4) carry out activities according to the project (5) Observe participation (6) Evaluate (7) Arrange the stage to take off lessons and (8) Test the process by experts using the group discussion process, the results appear that in the development of the elderly care process by community participation There are 3 important elements: (1) participatory planning (2) Implementation of strong network partners and (3) continuous monitoring and evaluation Performance according to the procedure Found that community participation is at a high level And getting the elderly health care process in the community consisting of (1) Nonstop health care is that the community does not stop health care (2) Action plan of community health care is the implementation of community health care plans (4) Observation and assessment is the observation and evaluation of activities. In conclusion, the success factor of the development of the care process for the elderly in this community is to focus and create participation in caring by local networks and the elderly groups that are affected.
