Knowledge, Attitude and Behavior of Safety Working Condition among Migrant Workers in Blocked Rubber Industry, Trang Province

The objectives of this survey research were to study safety knowledge, attitude and behavior level of migrant workers who have task in blocked rubber industry. One hundred and thirty three migrant workers were include and asked by questionnaire during January – May in 2018. The Index of Item - Objective Congruence (IOC) were 0.67 – 1.00. The statistic used for data analysis were percentage, mean and standard deviations. The finding show that most of them were Myanmar 85.00% and male 75.90 %. They have an age between 21 – 29 years old at 43.60%. The percentage who did not graduated were 40.60 % and 72.20 % could not communicate in Thai language. 75.20% were married and 70.70% regularly drank. Almost were attend a safety workshop (83.50%). The safety Knowledge, attitude and behavior level of Migrant Workers were an average level (88.72%, 63.15%, and 78.20%, respectively). Therefore, the company should be communicate and encourage about occupational health and safety for these migrant workers.
