Oral health care process development students in Grades 4-6 at Ban Lao Tio School Bo Phan Khan Subdistrict Suwannaphum District Roi Et Province

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to study the knowledge, behaviors in oral health care and dental health of Prathomsuksa 4-6 students at Ban Lao Tew school. Bo Phan Khan Subdistrict Suwannaphum in, Roi Et Province 45 people. The tools used in the study were questionnaire and record of dental health examination The statistics used  Frequency, Distribution, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, Minimum, Maximum Value .

               The results of the study found that 57.8% female, 11 years old, 39.1% studying in primary school, 44.4% caring for students, 46.7% father or mother. Primary school, 57.8% of them engaged in agriculture the most, 57.8% had moderate knowledge, 71.1 percent, followed by good knowledge, 20.0% was knowledge of teeth and gums, 88.9% was knowledge of diseases in oral 93.3% and knowledge of oral health care 91.1% Dental health practice was at moderate level, 52.2%, followed by good level, 42.0%. The results of the dental health survey of students found that the students had tartar the most at 60.0%, decay of permanent teeth, 57.8%, gingivitis, 100. 57.8 per cent and extracted permanent teeth 57.8%               The results of this study show that students still have knowledge. and improper practice have a problematic dental health condition Therefore, those involved should have activities to promote knowledge, namely, dental health education in schools by public health personnel and dental health practice among students continuously. to have an activity to brush teeth after lunch and there are no snacks and soft drinks in the school district. On dental treatments are available for students with dental health problems. In summary, this service system development process This was achieved through the adjustment of process development. Oral health care for grade 4-6 students at Ban Lao Tio School in Bo Phan Khan Subdistrict Suwannaphum Roi Et Province Emphasis on the process of activities that are integrated throughout the system. Emphasis is placed on working in connection with the community and local networks. There is a good support mechanism of service units and care team both inside and outside the service facility.
